American Veterans Group co-founder William Frazier honored for his defense of veterans after 9/11 |

receives Mary Lanning Civil Service Prize of the Insurance Federation of new York

MELVILLE, NY, April 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — William H. Frazierco-founder of the American Veterans Group, was recognized for outstanding public service for his advocacy on behalf of American military veterans after 9/11.

Frazier, who co-founded the American Veterans Group (AVG) in 2018, received the Mary Lanning Civil Service Prize of the Insurance Federation of new YorkInc. He received the honor at the organization’s annual luncheon at new York Thursday, March 31.

He was also a managing partner at Gates Capital Corporation just before founding AVG and led municipal trading for JP Morgan earlier in his career.

Giving back to the community, Frazier sits on the Northwell Health System Board of Trustees and was previously Chairman of the Board of Directors of Northwell’s Huntington Hospital. He has held numerous positions at Northwell Heath, including member of the board of directors of the investment committee, former chairman of the board of directors of Huntington Hospital, chairman of the finance and investment committee and former member of the executive committee. . Mr. Frazier is a graduate of Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1971.
