Ken Pisani (AMP’D), who is a Los Angeles Times bestselling author essential to the organization and production of this anthology, added, “As a longtime member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA ) West, helping new and underrepresented voices tell their stories has always been important to me. We are all grateful to have found an immediate and willing partner in Top Cow.

These stories will allow readers to briefly step into the shoes of the men and women who bravely served and witness enhanced versions of the sacrifices they made during their military service.

“We salute their bravery and thank them for their service. Support veterans and pick up this book and share their stories,” Hawkins added.

Soldiers’ stories presents four compelling accounts of military conflict, all written by veterans who served from the Vietnam era to Afghanistan. These first-person accounts of real wars have been reimagined in a variety of genres, from science fiction to horror to personal memoir. What’s it like waiting for a chemical attack?
